13 Aug Photography Workshop
Are you interested in learning to take better photos of your family and/or surroundings?? I am excited to announce that I will be hosting a photography workshop on September 27th from 9:30am-noon at my home in Natrona Heights! I will be teaching the majority of the content, but there will be a guest appearance by my dad, Warren Barton (he’s much better at the nature photography. I stick to people for the most part!).
This workshop is for beginners who have dSLRs and would like to learn the basics of getting your camera off of the “auto” setting. No prior camera knowledge necessary! The workshop will include topics such as the exposure triangle, composition “rules”, focus, and white balance. This will be a relaxed atmosphere where we will cover the basics of your camera, but you will also have plenty of time to ask questions and get some practice. You will receive a professionally printed booklet containing the information learned in the workshop as well!
*Note: Some point-and-shoot cameras have manual settings, but you would not be able to apply all of the workshop information to a point-and-shoot camera, although a good bit of it would be helpful.*
The workshop is open to 4 people at an introductory rate of $25, which covers the cost of supplies. If you are interested, please contact me at email@example.com as soon as possible. Payment is due to hold your spot. Cancellations with 1 week notice will receive a refund, other refunds are at my discretion (sickness, emergency, etc. will receive refunds).
